So I see that the there is a new version (6.5) out and I should upgrade, but If you follow the directions to a "T" then that means that I have to back up my sites Dir which now has about 2 gigs of data in it (lots of photos) and then reupload that as well. That is going to take quite a bit of time, and I really do not want my site to be down that long (ok not down, but offline...)
Is there an easier way to do this? A quicker way to do this? Am I missing something?
I've got a 6.4 site, and I just upgraded to 6.5. No extra modules, just drupal core. Set site offline, copied new files to server, copied across files directory, .htaccess & settings.php. Ran upgrade.php script which updated 1 thing (I forget what, sorry).
I am trying to upgrade; however after running upgrade.php it shows no update... still 6.4??? What is wrong with this problem????
I have uploaded the files twice with my ftp client and overwritten the old ones. Should I make a completely new directory and rename the old drupal directory on my server or what?
Hello,
i have tried to get my drupal site on another server. I have imported my MySql Dump in my new MySQL version5, eversthing wents fine. Then i copied the drupal files to the server and changed database connection string. The Connection is working. But when i try to go on the website i only get the drupal message: the site is unter construction. Is everyone there, that has an idea?
I installed 6.4 (auto install from my hosting service-godaddy), then I realized I needed to upgrade to 6.5. I follow the instructions and the install completes with all groon go check-marks. then I browse my Admin and it says I need to upgrade again! I did this 3 times and the only issue I'm having is an error message in the FTP on this file:
