Upgrading Drupal

My company is currently in progress of upgrading from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 and it's a pretty comprehensive upgrade and migration.

Will it as difficult upgrade from Drupal 9 to Drupal 10? Does the core change, database change, or module change? Or is it not known yet?

I have installed drupal on my server  but opted for other option. 

I thus deleted it as procedures indicates. All files have been removed from the server. 

Pb: i still receive every second day request for updgrade.

I am trying to upgrade Drupal core through the browser "www.website.com/update.php" and I keep getting the following error : The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

It is hosting on my private server running ubuntu 18.04 and everything is up to date.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am a level 0 beginner so let me know if you guys need more info in order to help.

I am new to Drupal we have a site in Drupal 8(8.9.13). We have custom modules for authorisation and updating orders in our system which is outside details. How we can update it I can see that in Yml the divination says 8.X when I say 9.X it gives me unexpected issue.

I use composer but can't get a downgrade to work. I'm using a test server that doesn't meet D9 requirements but is a lot cheaper for my very tight budget.
