Upgrading Drupal

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to update drupal. it says an update is required. I download it onto my computer, and now that it's there, I have no idea where to open it or how to get it back to drupal to do what it is supposed to do. thank you!

I'm stumped with a problem with my Drupal 5.15 installation.

I have about 3-4 modules that don't seem to want to update.
Administration menu 5.x-2.7 won't update to 5.x-2.8
Google Analytics 5.x-1.6 won't update to 5.x-1.7
Page Title 5.x-1.1 won't update to 5.x-2.0

I've read through each of their readme's and can't see any specific instruction regarding updating from previous versions.

I just updated from Drupal 5.12 to Drupal 5.15 but was having the same problem with 5.12.

I've recently had my cron job fixed. Crons did not run for 32 weeks. UGH!
Now, I'e got more issues. Many of my admin. functions are not running, menus, blocks, etc.

After much fear and trembling, I managed to accomplish the upgrade from 5.7 to 5.15 today. I ran update.php and accepted the defaults and was pleased when a) the site actually came back up and b) it no longer saw red in the Drupal core.

After that, I began attacking the modules. Specifically, I need to update Brilliant Gallery, CAPTCHA, Colorpicker, Image assist, Javascript tools, Lightbox2, Print, RSVP, and Web Links.

This is really strange. After I upgrade from 6.3 to 6.9, the "Available updates" page say I still have version 6.3 installed, a Security update is required, and the Recommended version is 6.9.

This is driving me crazy. I followed the Drupal 6.9 upgrade.txt to the letter - 4 times!!!! And this happens every time. The update.php works fine. No errors are reported.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I upgrade my drupal site (chaldeansoccerclub.com) from version 5.7 to 6.9 and now the Create Content link is no longer available and I am unable to create content.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
