Upgrading Drupal

Drupal 6.13 Security Update just ruined my website. I don't know why.
I uploaded the new files, overwriting the old ones. When I tried to access my site to run the update.php - it gives me some parse error regarding ImageCache /as far as I can remember/ and something about line 161...

Why do you release stable releases to the public, which are untested?

I had bad feeling about that, something was telling me not to do it, I should have listened to my inner 'voice' ...

I have tried several times now to upgrade, but i keep getting the following error, after upgrade, when I go to the modules page:

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /var/www/vhosts/fdea.co.uk/httpdocs/site/sites/all/modules/admin_menu/admin_menu.inc on line 536

Is anyone aware of any upgrade problems?

I also tried only uploading the neccessary files, not all, still get same problem.

i am currently researching how to do the 6.13 upgrade, and i was watching
the screencast from "Learn by the Drop" to get some tips on how to do this safely..

i notice that in this screencast he is upgrading his site from 6.2 to 6.3,
then i read a few comments and someone else is talking about upgrading to 6.5 !!!

so i am wondering where are all these other releases ? or..
are there different release packages for different platforms ? Linux / Mac / Win

I am new to Drupal and having fun. Kudos to all contributors.

A while back I had installed 6.9 and spent some time today learning, configuring, getting some content up. I now want to upgrade to 6.13

I have looked on the Download page, in the release notes for 6.13, and on the full version history page. I have completely read the UPGRADE.TXT document that was downloaded with 6.13.

Nowhere can I find information saying what the oldest version is to which I can apply this upgrade.

In general do Drupal ".x" upgrade files include fixes from all previous ".x" upgrades to the same version. IOW, 6.13 will contain all fixes since 6.9?

Or do I have to run the 6.10, 6.11 and 6.12 upgrades before I can run 6.13?

Hi all - I am using domain access module on Drupal 5 on my local machine running wamp server. The local site is a complete mirror of the working installation that is already live hosted on a remote server.

I can't seem to get domain access working on the local machine. I was being told that I needed to patch custom_url_rewrite_outbound.patch. I follow the instructions but it's not working. I have installed this patch successfully on the remote machine.
