Various Errors While Attempting To Update

Hey all.

Right, I followed all of the information within the update.txt file and things seem to be going smoothly. I copied all of the files over that I downloaded within the 6.16.tar into the public_html directory of my webserver (I assumed it was a matter of downloading the newest version, copying and overwriting the files that already exist with the same name). I then ran update.php and got the following errors:

Table 'taylscor_DrupalDB1.semaphore' doesn't exist query: SELECT expire, value FROM semaphore WHERE name = 'menu_rebuild' in /home/taylscor/public_html/includes/lock.inc on line 154.

Table 'taylscor_DrupalDB1.semaphore' doesn't exist query: SELECT expire, value FROM semaphore WHERE name = 'menu_rebuild' in /home/taylscor/public_html/includes/lock.inc on line 154.

Table 'taylscor_DrupalDB1.semaphore' doesn't exist query: DELETE FROM semaphore WHERE value = '2066959994b8fcaf80182f1.18892195' in /home/taylscor/public_html/includes/lock.inc on line 229.

Can't DROP 'src_language'; check that column/key exists query: ALTER TABLE url_alias DROP INDEX src_language in /home/taylscor/public_html/includes/database.mysql-common.inc on line 448.

I cannot use Google Chrome as my browser when installing Drupal 7

I just find out that I cannot use Google Chrome as my browser when installing Drupal 7.
When I try to submit the Configure Site info I was just getting a blank page w/ no response.
I was so frustrated... I switched to Mozilla Firefox and it install perfectly. Hope this help if you are having the same problem.

6.15 > 6.16 seems to have caused problems with views module - fixed by clearing views cache

Displays now show on top of one another and when adding a new display, it doesn't show until you click save for the view. there is nothing to let you know however that anything has happened when you click add display. I'm not sure i understand the intent behind the changes as it only adds confusion and long pages to scroll through now with multiple displays on top of each other.

** fixed this issue i was having by clearing views cache.

Available update report doesn't display any installed module

when I run available updates report in order to Get a status report about available updates for my installed modules and themes I get an empty result with no installed modules and themes.
when I run status report i get the message No update data available on the "Drupal core update status".
It was working OK till while ago and now it constantly don't show the update status.

Sync Customers from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6 after Upgrade

We made a copy of our existing Drupal 5 site back in September and upgraded it to Drupal 6. We left the original Drupal 5 site live and since September we have 100s of new customers. We are now ready to launch the Drupal 6 site, but we are missing all of the customers that signed up since September. How do we sync the two customer data bases? I am trying to avoid having to add each customer from Drupal 5 one at a time into Drupal 6.

thx,
rOy
