User can't login after upgrading 6.17

Hi,

I’ve upgraded to 6.17 and the site is up and running… BUT: other users can’t login. The renew password is not working and after email arrives and pressing the accept on renew page, the login screen is reached instead of user information so users can’t change password.

I’ll appreciate quick help as the site is not working.

Thanks,
Gil.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function user_access() in...

Hello,

I have just updated Drupal to the latest core (6.17) and updated all modules. When I refreshed my update list of modules, EVERYTHING said they were 'Up to date'.

So I go to 'update.php' and I get this error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function user_access() in...
...each time I access the 'update.php' page.

Leaving me to reproduce a database, repopulate the db with the dump file and overwrite the Drupal site with the backup. This is about the 8th time (in a row) that this has occurred.

Any help would be appreciated!

How to give another user permissions for update.pgp

Hello Drupallers,

I need your help. I had set up a site with 2 users. I'm user 1. User 2 is the guy who do the administrative tasks. Now I want that user 2 is allowed to execute the update, php file. (normally that can only user 1 or all)

Can you please tell me how i can set it that this work?

And sorry for my "special" english ;-)

6.16 -17

Newbie , here. I used the auto install for 6.16 took it for a test drive, used FTP to install some modules. Looked around some more and read some things.

Decided before I get too far I wanted to update to 6.17. Got to the Update.php hit.

Looked and looked, and searched here. I don't see a file called ' settings.php ' to edit.

I will roll back and look listen and learn some more. Maybe D7 will be ready before I am.

Thanks in advance.

One-click mulisite maintenance mode?

Is there a way of putting multiple sites into maintenance mode at once without the use of drush and possibly running update.php for all of them at the same time?
