Error Upgrading existing Drupal 6.20 site to 7.00 - Unknown MySQL server host 'localhost:3306'

I experienced the following problem twice trying to upgrade an existing site, exactly following the procedure on http://drupalcode.org/viewvc/drupal/drupal/UPGRADE.txt?view=markup.
The error reads:

PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2005] Unknown MySQL server host 'localhost:3306' (1) in drupal_get_installed_schema_version() (line 151 of /is/htdocs/wp10000000_I72WMWPG3F/www/customer/includes/install.inc).
The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

Drupal 4.7.x with php 5.3?

Hi,
I am still lumbering with a site that is under 4.7.x and my provider has just updated to php 5.3

Are there any available patches for this version to run on php 5.3?
I wuold like to try and avoid upgrading if at all possible...
Thank you for your help and redirecting my if needed ;-)
Take care.

fields divide to two regions content region and left sidebar region

I have the problem to show the fields in different regions. I want to upload the photo with characteristics (colors and season etc).
for that I would like to give the checkboxes(to check characteristics) on left side region and submit the photo in content region at a time.
Any suggestions Thanks in advance

D7 upgrade fails due to nonexistant block_custom table.

I'm in the process of upgrading my site from Drupal 5 to Drupal 7. The upgrade to 6 was clean and easy, but now that I'm updating from 6 to 7, I'm running into an issue when running update.php. After taking into account all the steps outlines in UPGRADE.txt, my update fails with this error

Unorthodox upgrade with database only

Hi, I tried upgrading my installation following the normal procedure but it didn't work (meaning the process would do nothing, not that it fired errors or something).

Now, I have the backup of my 6.18 database, is there a way to use that database on a brand new installation of drupal?

Or could I import the data from that DB in a new installation of drupal?

Thanks.

Daniele

phpmyadmin to upgrade from 6 to 7

I've really messed up either my database or my codebase (or perhaps both). So I can't get a running version of drupal 6. I was hoping there was a way to setup a fresh install of drupal 7 and then use phpmyadmin to upload my drupal 6 nodes into it. Please let me know and thanks!
