first of all, i'm glad to see Drupal has finished its own (hosting) migration.
I have downloaded and extracted Views 6.x 3.x. In the modules section i have enabled 'Organic groups Views integration 6x-2x'. In the small text next to the 'Organic groups views integration' label it says i have already enabled Views. I have also run update twice.
However, 'views' does not appear in my category list under 'Site building'. So, i can't get started with it. Does anyone have a suggestion about how I can make it appear under Site building?
My server went down and after restoring drupal installation all works almost well.
The only problem I have is that the main page goes to /install/ and the page shows:
I have a Drupal site running on D 5.7, if I'm not mistaken - a very old version in any case.
I plan to upgrade to D 7. There is NO need to upgrade the old scripts, themes, views etc., because I intend to rebuild things from scratch. But I do want my data to remain intact and to be re-usable in the new D 7 environment.
I upgraded a Drupal site to 6.2 from 6.19, ran the upgrade script and then I still got the message that I needed to run cron, but when I click on that link, I get an error message:
Fatal error: Class 'view' not found in /includes/common.inc(1696) : eval()'d code on line 2
I can't figure out how to get rid of this. I am using Views, and it is up to date, all my modules and themes are up to date. I reran the upgrade script to update the database.
I'm moving my site from D6 to D7, there are some unsupported modules and I don't know if I'm obliged to uninstall them in D6 or I could do it later after Core upgrade to D7.
At the step 6 of the upgrade procedure (http://drupal.org/node/570162) I copied back required items and then update.php script stopped me with warning that settings.php is not writable.
OK - I've changed the permissions and Try again (reload) but I've got blank page - no error or even no html source code.
