I am trying to upgrade a fairly simple site but the upgrade failed when I run update.php with this error: I'm sorry! A fatal error seems to have ocurred with the database. We are investigating the problem, so please try again later.
I just upgraded on of my websites from Drupal 6.20 to Drupal 7, following the upgrade instructions to the letter. The upgrade itself seems to have gone fine, as I a able to get to the admin section (/admin), and no errors came up during the actual install. However, when I try to visit the main, public-facing page, I get a WSOD with the following error message:
Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in /home/dtdrupal/stable/includes/common.inc on line 2313
Feeling crazy... I can't locate post settings in Drupal 7, for setting number of posts to front page, length of trim, etc. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have recently upgraded my site to drupal 7 and have encountered so many problems that my site is now almost useless. The site is http://indiegame.us/ and I have installed previous modules that had drupal 7 support but not I constantly get errors and encounter problems causing my website to be useless and I cannot seem to get them all fixed. I am hoping I could get some assistance here. On the site users uploaded Games and also flash games that they created providing a community and place for them to get reviews on their games.
O.K., I'm not real sure where to post this.
Just want to know if there is an 'easy' way to find the modules that are compatible with Drupal 7?
Searching modules, selecting compatibility w/ 7.x turns up too many that one has to select to find out if they are stable or still in development.
