Upgrading Drupal

When i enter my ftp information to update my modules i receive this message:

Tried searching for the problem on the site but didn't find an answer.

Somehow I cannot drag-and-drop my fields anymore...The cross has disappeared and now I only have the weights box which is VERY slow to use...What could be the problem?

Hi folks

I've searched but haven't found what I am looking for. Hopefully someone can offer some advice on which direction to take.

I want to be able to upload files to my site, create a user that is to be the owner of these files, then have that user be able to login and download these files (image files mostly).
Obviously, only the user for which the files are intended is able to access them. It would be great to present the files in a thumbnail gallery type view for the user when they access the site to download them too.

Any advice is appreciated.

I am trying to upgrade Drupal 7.0 to Drupal 7.7 i put the site into maintainance mode and ftp'd all the files from 7.7 into my home directory. when i run update.php I get the intro page i press contuinue then it says "No Pending updates" and does not carry on to next step
does anyone know why ?

I have been working on the site to upgrade it from drupal 6 to drupal 7. Here is how I am able to do it.

Is there a reason why I can't get to see the full index of themes or modules. I am getting an Access Denied.
