What's going to happen when...

What's going to happen when the next version of drupal comes out? My installation isn't stock standard (although I am using the phptheme engine, so I'm hoping this will be a good thing). But I have had to make some custom hacks of particular modules (only 2 so far).

So when it comes to upgrading, what sort of issues am I facing?

Upgrade path from 4.2.0?

I've got a site running Drupal 4.2.0, and I need to bring it up to 4.6.3 -- the downloads sections only goes as far back as 4.5, can I safely upgrade from 4.2 to 4.5, then to 4.6?

thanks,
fnord

Theme Engine/Themes & Theme Css

For various reasons last weekend we emabrked on upgrading one of our servers, Initially we upgraded to php5.0.5 but quickly found numerous problems and clashes with drupal we dropped down to php 5.0.4, we have some serious issues still however.

We have two installs of Drupal and they are both experiencing the same problem......NO theming what so ever. both sites www.ozmotorsport.com.au and www.natoliracing.com

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_checkbox()

I just upgraded from 4.6.3 to HEAD cvs, and it's generally gone smoothly. However, several setting pages do not work, as they give errors such as "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_checkbox()" or "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_radio()". I checked to make sure that legacy.inc is in the includes director, and it is.

What's up?

Thanks,
Aaron

Some modules render Admin module page unavailable

Hello, all. I've had a weird thing happen when I try to install modules in my Drupal 4.6.3 installation: about half the time, when I go to the "modules" page in the admin to enable the module immediately after installing the module files on the server, the module page becomes unavailable - i.e., I get a browser "no-location-exists" error.
