Httpd title/ errors

I've just upgraded my site to Drupal 4.5 and I'm getting lots of httpd errors with errors involving a title/ link that doesn't exist anywhere in my site. For example:

22/11/2005 - 11:04 404 error: title/who not found.
22/11/2005 - 11:03 404 error: title/shall not found
22/11/2005 - 11:00 404 error: title/is not found.
22/11/2005 - 11:00 404 error: title/give not found.
22/11/2005 - 10:56 404 error: title/what follows not found.
22/11/2005 - 10:21 404 error: title/19 not found.

I sometimes get refused mysql connetion, can't throtle handle this?

This is the text I see now:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /export/vol2/unix/p/phoohb/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 31
Too many connections

Can't there be a @mysql.. else show something static, thing?

(but I guess that means saving one more variable in a diskfile)

Can this be a considerable option?

4.4.0 to 4.6.3 problem with sites

Hi im somewhat new to drupal and I just upgraded fro 4.4.0 to 4.6.3. The upgrade went ok, but I am having problems with getting all of the different site installations working. There is now a "sites" folder and I'm wondering if I need to restructure all of the sub-sites somehow. the settings.php file has just enough info in it to suggest that I need to restructure but it doesnt provide enough information on what I need to do going from a 4.4.0 to 4.6.3 installation. Any help would be appreciated! thanks

New instance instead of upgrade?

I'm on a web host that uses Fantastico, so I can't follow the incremental upgrade instructions to go from 4.5.0 to 4.6.3. Is it possible to simply install a new instance and then import backup.sql into the new database (and redo the theme)?
