Upgrading from 4.7 to 5.1, the color changer on the new themes doesnt work

I upgraded from 4.7 to 5.1 and now the new feature built into the new theme where you can change the color of the theme and site is not working. The color scheme settings don't even display on the configuration page for the theme.

I installed drupal 5.1 as a new install on 2 other websites and it works fine, only having problems with a site that I upgraded.

Does anyone have any idea about this?

Upgraded 4.7.3 site to 5.1, now the file paths are all wrong

Hi all,

I upgraded a site to 5.1 a couple of days ago and for some reason the files directory path has been corrupted.

The site used to run its file uploads through the private method but to enable colour switching we moved the folder over to a public folder.

We moved the galleries and for some reason the URLs to the images (and avatars) end up similar to the one below:

Can I upgrade directly from 4.7.5 to 5.1 ? (or should I first upgrade to 4.7.6) ?

Hi,
can I safely upgrade from current 4.7.5 to 5.1, or is it recommended to first upgrade to 4.7.6 ?

Thanks,
Brakkar

3. misc/textarea.js not found
4. modules/img_assist/img_assist.js not found

Drupal Perfomance: Upgrade to 5.0 gone bad - Sloooooww site.

I have a website that I recently updated from 4.7 to 5.0 and then 5.1.

It's a portal that collects over 100 different RSS feeds and publishes them on the front page via the blocks module.

As soon as I upgraded the website, it slowed down from max of 5 sec to render the page, to min 15 sec. Without any other changes - running on default theme.

The site in question: http://tidarandinn.is.

PrivateMsg - Recipient Lookup

I would like a lookup box to list users who have PrivateMsg enabled, and insert the selected user into the recipient field of a message being written.

Any ideas how to modify the v5.1 PrivateMsg module?

Thanks
Michael
