In our use case we have an international audience. There are certain events in our system that work with Drupal's user time zone conversion (such as conference call times) but we would like to disable the conversion for physical meeting times where it would be more logical to view the event's local time. Is there a way of doing this?
I have a big problem and I am not able to find a solution in the drupal forum. I have a project in drupal 8, I installed everything without composer, including the modules. Now, when trying to update everything to a new version, the web explodes. Is there any way to pass all that project to a new project with updated modules?
Having finally upgraded from D6 to D8 I am enjoying media support in core. However, I am struggling with the best way to embed images in node bodies. In D6 I used the Image Assist module, which worked well but it was a pain to migrate over too D8 as that approach no longer works. I am now keen to use a way that has the best chance of giving me long-term compatibility with the direction of travel for core. I.e. I want to pick the approach that has the best chance to be fully supported in D9 and beyond.
