Unable to re-order or disable menu items

Hello everyone,

I am using Drupal 8.6.7, if I try to re-order or disable a menu item I get this error message,

I can create new menu items and edit old ones but cannot reorder their positions nor disable them.

Thanks.

Better protection from spam account creation

My site has all the anti-spam modules installed. In particular, user_restrictiobns is just what I need, but unfortunately it does not test all of the user account fields. I have Rules installed also, but cannot figure out how to get rules to apply to just the account creation page.

What I want to do, for example is to:

Question on Drupal Architecture Setup

If I have one install of D8 for 4 similar themed websites, can I use separate Web Automation, Chat  and CRM for each website.  I wish I could get them to agree, but each is set on using one or the other.

Here is the breakdown:
-Web Automation (Marketo & Act-On)
-Chat (Drift & Freshchat)
-CRM (Salesforce & MS Dynamics CRM) for each website.

If that will not work…I am considering a Multisite instance of Drupal on a shared core.

Any thoughts from the community?

How to disallow Admin Toolbar to load Vertically?! | D8

Hello,

How to disable Admin Toolbar from loading vertically ever?!

1) I don't need it

2) The only times I resize my Computer Screen - are to see how my page would look on a small screen device - and then Admin Toolbar comes into play, taking up half a screen....

....and I am trying with Firebug to write display:none , but when I resize my browser - it doesn't display, but still takes half a screen of invisible margin.....

I would be happy to disable it somehow....

Anyone running a paywall w/ their Drupal 8 site?

Considering my options as I begin planning my migration to Drupal 8 and possibly implementing a paywall.

  • What module(s) are you using?

  • Is it a metered paywall based on content views, or something similar?

  • What were some of the challenges you faced?

Deleting Fields on Content Type, will all associated data will be deleted / cleaned up?

I have several thousand nodes that were created with a custom content type and I no longer require a few of the fields & information associated with it.

If I simply delete the Field from the Manage Fields GUI, will it delete / clean-up all the data for me?
