Drupal 8.x

I noticed links with index.php in the URL. Then suddenly, revert back to normal clean URLs after a few minutes and have not been able to reproduce the issue since.

Anyone else notice this random behavior in Drupal 8.6.16 or perhaps an Apache quirk?

Example:

https://www.domain.com/index.php/page-name   should be  https://www.domain.com/page-name

Hi, I am trying to add a parameter onto a node add form but not having any luck. Example, I'd like to have something like this: node/add/application/333 where 333 is another ID that I can use to control some things on the add form. Can someone steer me in the right direction?

I am trying to create a custom form and thought I had it cracked but have one error I can't figure out

In my src/Form/CustomForm.php. Everything I have read suggests the following should work but it doesn't

$node = \Drupal::routeMatch()->getParameter('node');
        $nid = $node->nid->value;

I manage a news website using Drupal 8 theme. I use 800X533 px size images to upload with each article I publish. Sometimes, the site shows results without any issue like the following demo site of the theme I am using.

However, often times, the result is like shown in the following URL.

https://www.halaltimes.com/
