We did a complete rebuild of our website, which involved migrating over a thousand blog posts. Unfortunately the node IDs do not match what they used to be, even though the titles do.
Now we've found that there are a few 404 errors for nodes Google has crawled on the old website, ie node/12345
I can't just point these nodes at the correct article, because it's a node that will eventually get used and cause issues later.
The EBMT, European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, is a collaborative peer network of professionals working, in centres and as individuals, in the field of clinical bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. Together, they make up the membership of the organization. Members contribute to and benefit from the collective knowledge that the EBMT has accrued, with the ultimate goal of saving the lives of patients with blood cancers and other life-threatening diseases.
I upgraded D7 to D8 and then installed my sub theme.
Nothing looked like my theme at all. I went to check the views and none of the views I had created in D7 were pushed over to D8.
I looked at my blocks. All of my blocks were there but none of them were enabled. I updated my info.yml file to include the regions after some research. But the blocks are still not in the right position and there are a lot of them.
How can I get my views and blocks to transfer over from D7 to D8?
I tagged my "articles" with [node:summary] as META "description" . It works perfectly with metatag module. However I do have several "paragraphs" content type (and will have more), and [node:summary] isn't available.
