How do I send Drupal Logs to apache logs or Docker stdout

Drupal uses /Drupal:logger() to send custom log messages to the database. Instead of sending to the database how do I send logs directly to apache or if I am running drupal in a docker container how do I send those logs to the docker container stdout.

I have my own 20 year old CMS and want to integrate it with Drupal

Hi

I'm a bit of a veteran PHP developer and have maintained and kept my own CMS going for 20 years now.  (Originally written in perl!!!!)  I know the naysayers will tell me "just use something already out there" but it is a (sick) hobby of mine and I wish to integrate my CMS with a drupal base for security that Drupal provides.

My employer went to Drupal 3 years ago.  My role in my career is to not only use it, but I am also an instructor to teach our department 'web champions' how to use the Drupal CMS we have.  So, I know the ins and outs of Drupal on the front end.

Drupal d8 upgrade

I'm running Drupal 8 and need to upgrade to Drupal 9/10.

The site includes contrib and custom modules and themes. Should I upgrade to d9 first, then to d10, or may I go straight to d10?

The D8 I have does not have a composer. What are the best options or steps I should take?

Thank You [spam link redacted]
