Hey guys,

I have a question about enabling/disabling the main or secondary menus in Drupal 8 (though I think this also happens in Drupal 7x if memory serves).

With a fresh install, I am able to toggle main/secondary menus via the Global settings successfully. However, once I toggle them within a theme (Bartik for example), the global settings no longer toggle the menus for that theme and must use the Theme settings from then on.

Is this by design?

(confirmed in my 7.23 installation also)

Hello, we have recently had our website redesigned, however, the person was halfway through, and is not helping us any more. I know the very basics about websites, and have managed to find my way around to change the bits I needed changing.
However, on the homepage, there is a slideshow, which we like, but I need to edit the text. I have tried everything to locate the slideshow, but cannot find it, and have no idea how to edit it. Please can anyone help me, step by step! The website is mr-o-removals.co.uk. Thanks in advance.

I got http 500 internal server error when trying to install drupal 8. any advise what to look for to fix this error?
