Drupal 8.x

Hello, I'm learning how to work with Drupal 8. I also have a site that I'm building using Drupal 7. I'm having a problem displaying the sidebar on each page in D8. This works fine in D7.

I have a collection of custom menus with custom page-types. Each page type is bound the menu I want, and the menus are all bound to sidebar_first. The effect I'm going for is found on the left side of this page: http://104.131.151.130/

I did the same thing in Drupal 8, but the menu does not show on the front page.

It is not impossible that it is just me .... But !

I'm having a hard time finding the documentation on publishing new modules to Drupal.org.
The docs I've found through Google, until now, have been deprecated, and latest updated in 2013/2014.

We have developed a new Payment Facilitator for Übercart, and some of our customers are asking for it to be added to Drupal.org, so they can automatically see when we have updated for it.

Anybody knowing the link to the newest documentation on publishing new modules to Drupal.org?

I'm new to Drupal, and something that I am interested in doing is creating a view with a filter that lists nodes with certain taxonomy terms. However, I need to be able to do this in my module's code.

Does anybody have any documentation or links that would be helpful in illustrating this process?

I made drupal 8 update but i can't upade the DB

I am working on site where drupal 8 is being used as back-end and we are using angular as front end. I created page views with rest export and it is fetching all the data in json format. But when i try to access the API from angular, it does not show anything.

Any idea?
