Just installed the newly released D8.0.1 in Russian and found again there are not translated strings ("No front page content has been created yet") on the front page:

After logging to localize.drupal.org I have found, that this string was translated back in the 2011:

Why was it not updated during the installation?

I'm trying to built a drag-and-drop room builder UI but at a very simplistic level. Essentially I'd only have shapes that looked like things , maybe three different shapes. I'd like to be able to to have each item snap to position, beside each other.

After the the layout has been built, I'd like the resultant "floorplan" to be interactive where each "shape" essentially can have data associated it as well as have views triggered by it. You could essentially treat each shape as an entity, you can have multiple of the same shape, but they are individual entities.

With Drupal 8 I'm having issues uploading images in a node.

I select an image in the upload dialog box and add it, yet when I go to view the page the image is not there? Directory permissions for image uploads are set to read/write.

When I inspect the source, I don't even see an image path??

I have a dozen or so Drupal 7 sites that I am intending on rolling into one Drupal 8 site, e.g.:

bob.com/article-1
joe.com/article-1

become

example.com/bob/article-1
example.com/joe/article-1

I need the existing node aliases (made using pathauto for Drupal 7) to remain the same so that I can simply 301 redirect the URL - e.g. have bob.com redirect to example.com/bob$request_uri. I've tested the redirect and it works OK... so long as the node aliases don't get changed.

Looking for an experienced Drupal developer. Needing somebody who is experienced with Drupal Commerce as we are building a marketplace for people to sell their products on our site.

Won't need any front-end development done. This is strictly a software project with heavy customization's to commerce, etc.

If you feel comfortable with the above and are able to dedicate the time right away, I'm looking for you!

Hi All

Not sure where this section now that ckeditor is part of drupal 8.

In the previous drupal version, were were able to edit the toolbars of ckeditor under ckeditor.config.js . Where is such setting in drupal 8 ?
