I use "Front Page Slideshow" extension.
I upload some images. After this my page loads properly (uploaded images are shown in page).
But after some time, my page doesn't load.
When I connected as administrator, I see, that in "Front page slideshow" tab the image file is not chosen.
I choose the image file again and my page again loads properly.
But after some time this problem persists.
Do you have some suggestions how to solve this problem?
I'm looking to find ways to restrict blog post access by either specific roles or else by a field that I can check off before publishing.
Example:
I'd like to tailor blog posts to specific audiences or to people who have yet to register to the site by checking a checkbox at the time of publish that restricts access or by having a reference field that determines which roles get access to the content. Most importantly, I'd love to have a teaser (up to a certain number of characters) for the users not in the bucket of referenced or allowed groups.
I created a view via the view user interface. From a custom module, I want alter the view for display the n firsts results depending of some user parameters.
I don't find how I can do that with views alter hook functions..
I have a deisgn made by a designer. He also created the html/css which looks realy nice.
Now I have to incorporate this in Drupal, such that the Drupel mechanisms (menu's, breadcrumb, content stored in nodes etc.) are incorporated. How do I start with this? Should I take a standard Drupal theme? Do I put Drupal theme parts in the design or do I put design parts in the Drupal theme? How should I approach this? Any directions are welcome!
When I installed the Drupal 8 on my Mac I run into some issue. So, I decided to help those who also had some of the problems what I met during the installation.
