Why won't a User's picture show-up on their Contact page?

Hi!

When not logged-in to the site (that is, as a visitor) and after clicking on the "Contact Me" link, the Visitor is taken to the Contact page for a particular user. This all happens correctly. However, that User's picture does not appear, as I wish it would.

Question about index.php file

Hi,

I just downloaded drupal 8 locally. I opened the index.php in notepad, I see the following code.

Users cannot access or create content

I had a problem earlier where I realised for the last 5 days new users could not register on my site. www.kampforum.co.za

This morning, I decided to run some module updates (can't remember all of them, CKeditor and in my opinion they were minor).
I put the site in maintenance mode and performed the updates.

After updates I was ecstatic, because new user registration worked 100%

Drupal 8 - accessing images...

Hi,

1 - I have images already on the server.

2 - I have pages where I can re-use images on server.

Screen shot

To have to track down image paths every time I want to re-use an image is a huge time-eater.

Question: Is there NO image gallery ability in Drupal 8? Seem peculiar for there not to be.

Theme-specific caching/clearing

I tried a site and Google search but did not turn up anything.

I know that you can disable caching entirely, or clear it entirely.

I am wanting to know if/how you can either turn off caching just for a specific theme, or clear the cache just of a specific theme.

The idea being, so you can develop a front-end theme and not have your separate admin theme slow down too, when you need to go back and forth between the two (like tinkering with views, adding blocks, etc).
