Doing some research for D8.4

I see on the project page for "ip2country 8.x-1.8", it says it's a stable release for D8.0.0, do you think this will work for D8.4 as well?

Hi,

I am working on a Drupal 8 website, that is being manually migrated from an old HTML website.

We have added about 2500 pages and added them to a menu we call 'Top Level Menu' (machine name top-level-menu)

When we try to edit the menu in /admin/structure/menu/manage/top-level-menu
after a pause the site returns a 500 error.

Any thoughts on how to fix?

As far as I am aware I followed all the steps required and after having run update.php twice and gone to admin as recommended get the following

The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

Looks like I have to go back to my backups.
Anyone else had the same problem?

Hello Drupalers

Despite the recommendation with Views Slideshow to install json2.js into /libraries/json2, it seems to cause the slideshow playback to fail in D8 if you choose to Aggregate JS under Performance/Cache.

In my experience, by removing json2 from the libraries folder, not only does the Views UI and slideshow playback work as expected, but you can again enable JS aggregation to optimize the site.

Can anyone else substantiate this?
