Drupal 8.x

Hi guys, I'm coming to my problem right away.

I have my school's software API key.
I want to be able to use this key to display the following data on Drupal:

• The list of teachers of a class
• The list of the votes of a teacher
• etc...

I did some research but I'm quite confused.
I do not know how to connect to the school software using the API key.

If anybody could give me some links which explain how to do a multilanguage site migration (from D7 to D8), i'll be very gratefull, because i don't understand how to do it.

My first try was to migrate one local D7 project to local D8 (3 different languages, i work with wamp, and virtual hosts). Setting.php, httpd.vhosts, and host are properly configured. French is my 'default' language. I installed migration modules to do it.

During the migration, more or less 50 'modules' weren't included, but ithink it's normal.

I have been using Drupal for years but am NOT a coder.

In D7 I had some User Relationships in place - Friend, Work Colleague etc.

I am trying to find out how to do it in D8. I'm guessing it's a matter of tying some of the more techie modules together, but am clearly missing something.

Pointers would be great.

When saving VIEWS in Drupal 8, http error 500 comes out.

I am building a website with Drupal 8. After creating a view on my tables, and then clicking the SAVE button, http error 500 always comes out.

Why is this error happening and what should I do to fix it?

I've been following this forum for a while and I guess now is the time for me to make a post.

I'm about to set up my first drupal website. (Just to try it - I'm familiar with other CMS like Joomla and WP but never used drupal).

I want to know the basics in setting up af website using Drupal

Therefore, I'm thinking: What "direction" would be the best?

• To buy a "premium" Drupal theme?
• Or to "start from scratch"?

What would you guys recommend? I wanna learn how to set up websites using Drupal. And should I go with Drupal 7 or 8 ?
