e-commerce vs. ubercart comparison

I'm looking for feedback on Drupal shopping cart modules to be used for a winery website to sell wine and wine club memberships. It appears that e-commerce and Ubercart are the most common modules. Are there other good options? Can anyone provide any feedback or recommendations for e-commerce or Ubercart?

Thanks.

How safe is drupal ?

I'm thinking about installing drupal but how safe is Drupal ?

moving local to remote live

I've read a few threads about moving Drupal and I'm still unclear.

local test site is: c:\\easyphp\www\drupal
dbname - localhost/drupal
dbuser - drupal_admin

After moving, the details will be:

live site: /public_html/website
dbname - localhost/username_drupal
dbuser - username_admin

If I edit the settings.php line:
$db_url = 'mysql://drupal_admin:*****@localhost/drupal';

to read:

$db_url = 'mysql://username_admin:*****@localhost/username_drupal';

Aggregating RSS Feeds and Allowing Voting

Would Drupal be suitable for the following and if so what modules do I need:

1. I aggregate a number of RSS feeds that contain links to other sites (think del.icio.us feeds)
2. There is a configurable email update that aggregates all items in the last x hours which users can subscribe and unsubscribe to
3. The site has Digg like functionality to vote individual links up and down
4. There is a view of the most popular links in the last x days where x is configurable

If there is a solution for 1 and 2 without 3 and 4 then that would be of interest also.
