Before you start

I have installed drupal 6.4 on a test server, and so far have been a bit frustrated. Mainly due to my own ignorance, but partially because it seems like there is a bit of a delay with the themes and such that carry over. It seems most themes are made for version 6.x -1.1 which im assuming means upto 6.1.1 or something.

Ive noticed a few of the themes i liked worked, but not 100%. usually something small like a border being off or a word or 2 floating around that shouldnt be in that spot.

Hi, I'm interesting to make a feautured gallery in my site like badoo. (badoo.com) The gallery must have this feautures:

-Poxibility to Tag user (he or other friends) in photo;
-poxibility to move with drag&drop photo (sorting photo..in front-end)
-poxibility to rotate photo permanently(right, left)
-poxibility to resize the thumbnail preview dinamically by front-end user view
-poxibility to add comment on photo
-poxibility to rate photo

Anyone have some suggestions for that? from where I beginning?

I am new to drupal but have used other cms' in the past, and want to know if it is possible to build a fully functional gaming community with drupal.

This would need event calendars, foroums, customisable profile areas etc.
I have built a similar site previously (see http://kgc.clangrid.com) but am looking to increase the functionality. If anyone could advise me on the modules I would need to do this I would be very greatful.

I have used drupal one time and it was great. I used ubercart because I had lots of products.

This time I have service where customers fill in their info and then pay for it through PayPal. Does Drupal have something for this ? A simple pay solution without cart. Where people can fill the blanks and hit the pay button. After the transaction I can see what they typed in.

I will create a site that has these main functions:
User & admin created quizzes that can be taken by anyone
User & admin created blogs
User & admin created pick up lines
User & admin created horoscopes
User & admin created jokes
Aggregated fun videos & pictures

All of these should be able to be commented and rated.
I want to use subdomains for all users.
I also want to provide users with an emailaddress under my domain, possibly just a forwarder.
