I'm about to start a new project , a web-based upload portal , and i would like to know whether Drupal is the right CMS to achieve it.
The project aims to produce a Web-based system for coursework submission and archiving. Students must be able to submit their work securely. Staff need access to download the work, either individually or for an entire module assignment. Office staff must be able to create an archive of all coursework submitted for a particular assignment. The system should also provide reports, issue reminders.
Hi! I think i've decided to roll out my site on drupal. I've noticed that most of the modules are only available for 5.x (and i say most, but i should say several). Do you recommend installing the 6.x version or the 5.x version? or should i pick out the modules that i want specifically and make my decision based on that?
Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to website design. I'm starting a company with two friends, and drupal has several features that we want to use (blogs, wikis, forums, etc...). However, this is just a piece of what we want in the site. We plan on having more content and custom things. If i wanted to use drupal for some parts of our site, and create the rest, how do I do that? I'm fairly new to open source, but i imagine the code exists somewhere. Do i build the content I want with drupal, and then incorporate that code into my site?
I have some questions that I hope you guys can help me with. :)
I am currently working on re-doing the website for one of my favorite bands(yay!).
Unfortunately for me, I'm not a web programmer, so I'm beginning to wonder what kind of mess I got myself into. HAHA.
They want to be able to turn their official site into a "social network" type site that is based around the band. Where the users can have myspace/facebook like profiles where they can list their favorite stuff, upload pictures, blahblah,, etc.
