Hello -
Thank you all for the extensive information presented here and at 3rd party sites.
I am looking for a section of FAQ here at Drupal..... I don't easily see it as an option, and when I search for FAQ, I find many posts regarding the FAQ-module, which is a different issue.
I am trying to create a website of educational resources. However I am not trying to create whole courses and therefore I have found the philosophy of systems like Moodle and ATutor unsuitable.
I would like to be able to create lots of articles on mathematics and categorise each of these articles in a number of different ways:
1. Subject: angles, trigonometry, space, shapes,... (could be in more than one)
2. Level: ks3, ks4, a-level,...
3. Type: video, quiz, game,...
4. Length: 10mins, 20mins,...
I would like to start using drupal.
I have 2 websites that will be converted/redone.
Is "multisite" the correct buzzword for this?
Or is multisite basically two domains that look more or less the same?
Hi- i am a complete NOOB but I want to learn! How can I create a site offline on my computer for practise purposes without registering a domain name, etc. I do not want to use a host and install drupal that way, I want to jsut do this on my computer to learn the program for free. I downloaded drupal onto my laptop but I do not know what to do next. What is the next step?
I need a media repository built around drupal, I've narrowed on a list of plugins and other details. These media files are a combination of ogg and mp3 clippings and i need the users to be able to search the site by Genere, Track, Album, Artist and the like..Is thre a contributed module which caters to this need?
The no: of media files is huge, 12K clips. Also, if you know any out of the bo module which allows me to host music files and allow users to download , I'd be glad for the help.
