New Forum Topic when a New Article is Posted

Hi --

I already run a Drupal based CMS, but a vBulletin forum. Considering what a disaster vB4 is, I'm considering switching the forums over to the internal Drupal one.

Most of my users visit my site for the forums, so I'd like to have a forum topic automatically be created when an article in the CMS is created. Is there a module for this?

Thanks!

Can it do this?

Hi,

I'm going to setup a community website and wanted to make sure that Drupal can meet my needs before I get started. I was looking at Wordpress as well, but I think Drupal is probably better suited from what I've read.

Features (tabs) I want on my website:

Product listing

Hello. I’m looking to create a simple site that has a list of products and allows a user to search through the available products. Looking at Drupal documentation and even playing with a local installation is frightening me the more I go on.

Could somebody please provide me with any pointers that could assist me?

Thank you in advance.

help me identify this module please

Hi

I haven't switched to Drupal yet since I need to do a lot more research.

But I want to implement such a calendar http://www.arts-humanities.net/event

Could you tell me which module it is?

Features are syndication of events/ categories and tags/ submission by users/ add to my calendar feature.

That's what I need :-) the Wordpress calendar I have totally sucks.

Can Drupal reuse content?

The website I'm about to create will be used by many editors who would like to share some of their content with one another or simply use the same content on multiple pages (for example some content on ocean floor research may be used on their project page and on a news page).

Can Drupal reuse content in this way or if not, is there some process to get this working?

Thanks!

www?

Hi guys - i think this is a total newbie question but i have looked at quite a few drupal sites and i have noticed that a lot of them, including this one, dont have the "www" in the URL.

Is there a reason for this?

Cheers

Kobi
