Have currently 2000 pages of content on another CMS, going to move over to drupal. We are going to be adding pages every day. Search is extensively utilized. I plan on using faceted_search or apache solr as well to have advanced search features available.
I need to maximize performance. I have experience with MySQL but not much with PostgreSQL. I've heard PostgreSQL is faster in some situations. Is this one such situation? What do you recommend?
I'm looking for a theme where when you come on the front page you have 2 options, register as a company or register as a user.
Does anyone have an idea if there already exists such a theme?
I want to create custom webforms where:-
1. Data validation for different data types- text, numbers, emails,
2. Where the data can be downloaded for each individual form submission in pdf format, instead of the default excel format. I want
each individual submission emailed as a pdf, and also can be downloaded as a pdf.
3. The submitted data can be evaluted manually according to a given criteria, and then the results posted online
If so, which modules should I take a look at? I really like drupal for community aspects as this covers half of my needs but not sure if the service provider functionality is going to be more hasstle than it's worth achieving in drupal?
I just started a new job that has a focus of redesigning a company Intranet for approximately 300 employees in two different locations. Their current Intranet is ANCIENT with a box template that doesn't allow much customization...the color, theme and layout is hideous. I have my work cut out for me.
Based on my research I see the best Intranet content management systems are Drupal, Joomla! and I'm considering Sharepoint Designer 2007 because we already have the Sharepoint Server 3.0. Anyone know about Moodle for Intranets?
