Can i use drupal for my company interaner i want facality for customize template also there is dependent list box also used like select State then display Distict in another list box.

So can i user drupal or go for custom development as per my requirement

Hi, I am a mid-level webmaster. I can edit php scripts as needed and I have built this site on Joomla: http://www.fashionstudentsonline.com which included a lot of really crappy hacks to make everything work together. I was scared of Drupal because I can edit code but do not know how to write it. I am sick of Joomla, it's ridiculous limitations, and the unending errors that come on my site and so here I am.

I've been looking at the documentation for multi-sites, and am trying to figure out what the best way to go about doing this is.

Assume the following URL points to an existing Drupal node:

{mysite}/node/12

with an URL-alias of

{mysite}/{nodename}

Then, invoking

{mysite}/node/12/sometext

will bring up node 12. Within the handling of that node display, I can use 'sometext' as a parameter to do something fancy (e.g. display a variation of node 12).

However, using the URL-alias

{mysite}/{nodename}/sometext

will only yield a 404 page.

Is there a way to display node 12 for this URL?

Hii everyone!
I am very new to drupal. Hopped in to make a site with a particular idea in mind. Then that was when I got lost in the concepts of payment gateways/shopping cart etc. I would want to know if I get Ubercart up and running , would I need to buy a payment gateway . Could someone please shed some light on this!
