Hi is this possible, I know we can use ubercart and node import I guess and module flipping book , but will this work? Everything together??

I'm evaluating Drupal as an application development platform, and i trying to figure it out how my application can be developed in Drupal.

So this is my evaluation scenario:

I have a content that my users will create, that content will be available to is owner only, unless the user share it with another user, group or make it public. That content will be organized in "virtual" folders created by the user. On the other hand that content will be classified with tags, those tags can already exist, or being created by the user.

I'm a web developer. As such I'm proficient in HTML and CSS. I looked at Drupal a few years ago and got a big headache -- felt like I needed a Ph.D or access to a magic formula to solve its riddle. With 7.x,, I'm hoping I don't need an advanced degree or potions.

Here's a site I'm creating.

Is it possible to transfer an old site into Drupal, my website has thousands of pages and doing this manually would take forever...

Planned site: Essentially a compact disc library that would include the details re: the CD, the musicians on the CD, the tracks on the CD, maybe some performance videos.

This might sound straight forward but I think it will require extensive database (MySql or possibly Amazon RDS) integration into Drupal. I would need to allow the user to search for a CD, then drill down into the other pertinent information. Same idea would be to search for a musician and see how many different bands and CDs and songs she has been participated in.

I designing a website with drupal and there are features that use map integration with some data's in my database (i use some tables that are not associated with drupal).

I was wondering if i could integrate google map or any kind of map including my own that has different regions could display some query results from my database tables? and also i can redo this with different selection critereias.

I appreciate if some one recommend me to some reading materials and also some sample websites. to see as an examples
