Is Drupal a viable solution for my website? Please review What is Drupal before posting.

D is for Database (Which to use)

My agency is getting ready to implement Drupal as a replacement for our PHP/PostNuke solution. I am a network engineer by design... but will be supporting this solution (Windows server with apache) We also have a windows SQL database server available...so my question is this.

Which database should we use for Drupal? I know MySQL, MS SQL, and PostGRESQL, claim to be supported... but which once will be easiest to implement and maintain with Drupal? What levels of community support and resources are available ?
Please advise and thanks,

Chris

Convering Post Nuke 7.26 To Drupal

I have several installations of Drupal running, and I love it. My main entry on my largest site is running Post Nuke 7.26, and I want to convert it to Drupal. Are there any scripts available?

Can you make Drupal in polish language?

It is very interesting CMS please can you do this in Polish language? I am interesting about that because
the HTML validation went good. I tested.

With the best wishes.

gamespot.com like site

Hello Friends,

I am going to make a website like gamespot.com. Inkluding articles, reviews, previews, forum and of course news.

I am not sure durpal can handle stuff like reviews, where it needs additional article fields like score, conclusion. Or news with uploading a content relating image. Is there an image upload feature that automatically places the picture (manipulated with image magic?) into the startpage and newsitem?

Wiki like book module

I want to build an article site system covering categorized topics. I would like pages to be wiki-like, in that several words or phrases link to appropriate topics in the system. I believe the wiki module works like this using the /title/keyword link method.

I would also like the wiki style of entering a url and if the node doesn't exist it prompts you with an edit page. Does anything provide this functionality ?

that is, if I enter this url:
site.com/title/Bugs_Bunny
Bugs_Bunny doesn't exist and it will prompt/allow me to create it.

Multiple blogs on different domains

I'm among those who have been waiting for MT 3.0 for a while (in the hope that it will stop comment spam) and been rather surprised at the new licensing restrictions. So I'm looking at Drupal as a replacement for MT. Can it do the following? (Not all are showstoppers)
