Is Drupal a viable solution for my website? Please review What is Drupal before posting.

User Posts

Is there a way to see all posts in the forum by a particular user? Specifically myself... I posted and now cannot find that post. :)

Thanks.

Is Drupal suitable for Prayer Requests?

Hi, my name is Anna and I volunteer to help a religious association. We want to start a Prayer Requests collection and I have trouble in finding a software tool to manage it. These are the requirements:
1 The Prayer Requests page must be accessible to everyone without needing to register or login
2 New prayer requests must be emailed to a moderator
3 moderator must access an administration page and validate (approve, edit, delete) the prayer requests. Requests are published upon approval.

Hard to make templates???

I'm just looking for a CMS that isnt so difficult to create my own templates. I have made/designed websites and blog templates before, but nothing for a CMS. I currently have Mambo which is great, but it is so complicated to create a template for, and the tutorial they have is not very "newbie" friendly to those who are having a first go at doing so.

So, how is the template system for Drupal? Is it easy for someone to create their own layout??
Thanks for any help

uncompressing drupal-4.1.1

I have downloaded the drupal-4.1.1 but have not been able to uncompress it. i am using windows XP, so can somebody help me out?

Is Drupal what I'm looking for?

I've posted this on a couple of different cms/blog/site-solution sites.

I'd like to "beef-up" an MT site. It's sports-related, only one person posting news and rumors. Moving away from "just a blog" to wanting an interactive site with others being involved.

Main things to add:
* user registration
* user submittion of news with approval system
* easy reading of other rss feeds (with caching and good management)
