I'd like to create nodes that optionally have event-like dates. If a node is assigned date attributes, it shows up in a calendar (like the event module) as well as through typical taxonomy browsing. If a node doesn't have date attributes, it does not show up in the calendar, but only shows up in the taxonomy browsing.
Hi, my name is Anna and I volunteer to help a religious association. We want to start a Prayer Requests collection and I have trouble in finding a software tool to manage it. These are the requirements:
1 The Prayer Requests page must be accessible to everyone without needing to register or login
2 New prayer requests must be emailed to a moderator
3 moderator must access an administration page and validate (approve, edit, delete) the prayer requests. Requests are published upon approval.
I'm just looking for a CMS that isnt so difficult to create my own templates. I have made/designed websites and blog templates before, but nothing for a CMS. I currently have Mambo which is great, but it is so complicated to create a template for, and the tutorial they have is not very "newbie" friendly to those who are having a first go at doing so.
So, how is the template system for Drupal? Is it easy for someone to create their own layout??
Thanks for any help
