Are there any conversion scripts to convert from TextPattern to Drupal? I converted one site over from MT, that was easy, however in liking the feature set with Drupal it fits another site I switched to TXP before finding Drupal. Just wondering if any conversion scripts exsist out there? Even home grown - not tested / ready for prime time, I am willing to be a test subject :)
I currently have a (new) MT site (shuddertrix.uni.cc) and I have been a long-time user of Drupal but have never used it fully. I was thinking of a way to move my movable type to Drupal or get my Movable Type intergrated with drupal, or something else along those lines. I am planning on also having tutorials for photoshop, gimp, linux, etc. stuff. I was thinking of using the article system combined with something like Movable Type - is this possible?
I have a hosting account with a database already created with a password. I have a few other programs that is already using this database so I need to be able to organize the database field with a prefix.
I searched thru the forums and found no easy way of doing that. The only thing I've read is about it being available in a later release of the software...
i have setup my database, set permissions and loaded the database schemes.
i have also edited conf.php with relevant details but for some reason i cant connect.
i get this error:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'decyfer@64.232.254.35' (Using password: YES) in /home/decyfer/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 12
Access denied for user: 'decyfer@64.232.254.35' (Using password: YES)
does this mean that there is no account for decyfer or that it cant find the database?
I am working on creating a community-based technology weblog. I would like to allow people to sign up, submit an entry, and allow the staff team to accept or delete the posts (before they appear on the front page).
Do you think that Drupal is the best software for my project? A prompt response is greatly appreciated.
Can Drupal setup access levels which will only display the menu item/page to the certain level user.
1 - public content
2 - Registered Level (default after user has registered)
2 - Registered Level 2
3 - Registered Level 3
It would be okay if higher levels can see lower level content, but lower level users would not be able to view either the content or button (or both) of the higher level.
