I know that Drupal does not provide a Webmail interface (atlleast for now). My problem is that I want to build a site where people would have one point entry to the entire site (including webmail), so that they can seemlessly move around from onc section of the site to another without having to enter seperate passwords.
I am not a PHP/Drupal programmer so excuse me if this sounds lame. But can we share the session IDs between two apps. lets say Drupal and a mail client? This can probably solve the problem. Or is this too lame? :(
I'm starting on the path to Drupaldom and I could use some clues please.
I've set up Drupal in a sub-directory of my main site with no links to it so I can play around with it and try things out. Now I need to move on a bit and start again with real content.
How do people go about putting Drupal in to a live site with the minimun dissruption? I'd like to be able to get my Drupal site complete and then "flick a switch" to change over.
Hi, I'm running drupal and I'm very satisfied, how ever I see a few modules I need to incorporate in installation, I don't know how to install can anyoner advise?
I am planning to use Drupal mainly for its article, clean url and forum features along with the wiki.module. I will install drupal on a sub directory of my main hosting account, but from the web it will only be accessible as a top level directory.
Does Drupal support auto purge (automatic deletion of comments/messages after a threshhold)? My current discusware based website gets thousands of messages. It has a feature that for a particular topic if number of messages is beyound a certain number it automically deletes earliest messages to keep the page size in check.
It also allows easy deletion of hundreds of messages older than a certain date.
Does Drupal supports something ike it?
