I've searched and read all day... and can't find the answers to a few questions. I'm not a techie. So please take it easy on me. Maybe others have simple questions that could also go in this thread.
1) What causes the replies/comments to get indented at drupal.org? Is this a configuration option? Or, is it in the theme? If it's in the theme, is it easy to turn on? I really like it.
I'm absolutely begginer to use Drupal. I like this CMS, it looks like very good. I've a problem, with multilanguage support!
I found Internationalization module what can help me about this problem, but I read in readme.txt that it works only with 4.5.1 and maybe 4.5.0. I'm using 4.5.2 but I need multilanguage support, so the questions are:
- How can I use this module for the current version of CMS?
- If this module only works with 4.5.1 as well, then is any risck to use older relase like current 4.5.2?
I am developing a church website and one thing i would like to do is have different sections use different themes and menus depending on where you are. An example would be when you first come into the site it has a menu for everyone and a professional looking theme, but when they click on the Youth section then they will get a more youth oriented menu and theme.
I would like to set up a site where people can organise themselves in different groups, each of which would would allow discussions, posting of files (documentation and source code) with versioning.
From what I have read so far, the structure that I want could be achieved by setting my taxonomy correctly, but I am not sure how much customization/development I would have to do to develop a node (have I got that correct?) that would host each group.
