Hi there, a couple of questions I hope someone will be able to answer. I’m considering using Drupal as a content management system for a major University project that I’m working on. I was wondering if it’s possible to configure Drupal to allow only certain people to be able to access certain areas of the management system. Ideally I would like to have the people with the correct password be able to go to an area and be able to download and upload files. My other question is how secure is Drupal.
I am looking for a free solution for my future project (forum website).
Can anyone tell me if Drupal can create forums that have subsubsubcategories? I know that phpBB can create only 2 levels (categories and forums) while Invision Power Board seems capable of creating more levels (but IPB is no longer free...).
Please kindly let me know if subsubsubcategories are possible with Drupal.
I need to be able to mirror my site, can I do this with Drupal?
I can use Drupal for the real site, but I want to be able to run mirrors with static HTML that update every ${so_often}. I would also like to be able to create an offline-browsable version.
Hello -- I need to make a kid-friendly site. This means filtering out any "bad" words from any post. Can Drupal do this? Would it involve writing new code?
i want to put several differnt kinds of nodes an my site, i.e. job offers. Is it there a module, that allows me to specify some fields (in this case: company name, qualification, compensation, how to apply...) and that directly creates the necesary forms for users to post such nodes?
The problem is that there will be many different node types and writing each type myself as a single module would need to much time (also, as i am very new to drupal).
