..this might be simple - but still I'm stuck: How can I actually teach the date/time-chooser years before 2000..? ..like 1998..? ..at the moment it only shows a range 10 years - can I set it to 20 somewhere..?
We are in the process of adding a section to our website. http://www.nmgovlaw.com/ The original site was created in Dreamweaver. We would like to add a new section to the site to allow our clients to access various files. We would like the new section to have different structure/architecture but with the same appearance. Basically add a another section to the horizontal navigation bar.
We would like the new section to function in following manner. User clicks on the link to the new section. Then get prompted for a user name and password. After authentication the users will be automatically sent to a site made specially for them, and not accessible by any other users. Each users site would contain a clickable map of the US that contains links to different states where they can access the data they are looking for.
Can drupal help me? If not who or what can? I've looked thought the modules and found a few file sharing ones, but it appears that I'll need more than that to accomplish the rest of the project. I've read that any theme can be created for drupal so I feel, with allot of time I can make the new section look and integrate into the old section, possibly even replace the old section with a drupal version. For the login/secure section I'm unsure how to even begin. I do know that drupal can host separate site easily though.
I would like some specific pages on my site to have a warning banner displayed when accessed. For example
'Restricted in Confidence' or
'Commercial in Confidence'
Does anyone know a module that already does something similar?
Would banner.module be a good solution? Does banner.module only display advertisements randomly on pages or can it be changed to display banners on the same specific pages?
I help run three sites which use the Invision forum product. Will drupal incorporate with that ? Am happy to code in the security stuff etc myself, as l write php code for invision addons. In the next month we will be adding a vBulletin install so same question for that product.
Hope that makes sense ... need mucho more coffee this morning.
Hi, I have been told to design a website for my parents summer cottage. They own a part of a summer cottage and the group wish to have a website. It should mainly be used to display a calender, where the various people involved can see, who is inthe house in what period of time. It would also be neat, if each family could have a way to upload picture and descriptions from time spent in the house.
Will Drupal do the job with out too much code editing? I'm sure the picture/blog thing is doable, but whatabout the calender thingy?
