I have some experience with Drupal from several years back when I created a community site with a lot of customization.
Now I need to create something else and I'm wondering whether Drupal is the right tool for the job. I'm not really a programmer but I have no problems reading and modifying PHP and CSS. No experience in Javascript whatsoever, though.
I currently have a niche site that I want to expand into a big authority/advice/news site. Right now I'm running it through WordPress since that's pretty simple to operate and there are a bunch of plugins. I've used some very basic Drupal in the past but thought it was somewhat confusing.
I hope I am posting in proper forum since I can't find official forum part for Open Atrium here or on the web site of Phase2 website.
I have huge white space after "successful" 1 hour "fast" installation.
Then after white space I have this warning:
file_put_contents(temporary://fil6C63.tmp): failed to open stream: "DrupalTemporaryStreamWrapper::stream_open" call failed in file_unmanaged_save_data() (line 1936 of C:\wamp\www\includes\file.inc). The file could not be created.
In response to the following, I was told to check out ERPAL and CiviCRM. Can you confirm that ERPAL or CiviCRM would be a good match? Would this be a system that works with many users? Thank you!
I am a business advisor working at Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihoods (SOIL) in Haiti. SOIL works to promote ecological sanitation by developing social business models along the entire sanitation chain. One of SOIL’s current pilots is EkoLakay, a model that sells ecological sanitation service to households by installing toilets and providing weekly waste pick-up.
Hey guys. At the moment I'm self-teaching myself Drupal and attempting to get the modules together for a specific site.
Basically I'm going to outline my skill-set, and what I'm hoping to do, and am interested to know if I should do it through Drupal or some other tool, and if Drupal how you would recommend going about achieving my goals.
