we are currently looking into CMS alternatives for the near to mid future with a very strong focus on easy content authoring / editing.
We pretty much like the editor weblication ships with, is something this flexible possible with Drupal when using Panels?
There are some pictures on the - sadly only german - documentation: Weblication Documentation
First off thanks for taking the time to read this, your time is appreciated.
I'm a newbie beginner to website building. I've spent over a year learning about the internet. And than I made two horrible websites. Before I created an ok looking site that I'm currently working on, ( www.fatburnerdepot.com ) It's a wordpress 4.2.1 site, if that means anything.
I'm very new to CMS and especially Drupal. I can hardcode the website that is needed but I know that it will be a hassle when updating and it will take a longer time to finish.
I will detail the people manangement website below.
The website will be like an employee management system. So basic categories are as follows: employees, time log of each employee and such. And let's say the data needed to be recorded from an employee are the names, contact info, position or rank and etc.
Hello there, pretty new to drupal, been using wordpress for some blogs here and then, not too expert bout programming and coding tho ,..yet.
Hope you guys can give me some suggestions on this and osme help would be great!
My idea is to basically have a web platform that includes under same site three main concepts in different sections:
-yellow pages kinda database (company can have their page and users can see them)
-freelances kinda working platform (privates can post their jobs and be hired)
-question/ answer format (kinda like yahoo answer)
Hi. My site (www.allhotelsireland.com) is functional and, although I'm a rank amateur I feel I'm making progress. Until now...I've been advised that Wordpress will only ever be for amateur sites and I should consider migrating to Drupal. I've researched and know its more secure and has SEO benefits, among others.
But, coming from the position of "if its not broken, why fix it", are there real, compelling reasons to switch ?
I'd like to hear from users who have switched and gain insight to their experiences.
I hope all of you had a good start into the weekend.
Maybe you can help me and share your opinion with me:
I am looking for a CMS which offers the following functionalities:
- the platform is for small local indie bands which want to promote their concerts
- the bands can join the network and sell their tickets
- the user can buy these tickets and our platform gets a small amount of money for every sold ticket
