I am considering Drupal and several other CMS tools, but it seems to be an issue that I am running SQL Server and IIS.
Can Drupal be configured to run on this kind of platform?
If so, can it be done relatively painlessly and smoothly - or would I be better off scrapping EVERYTHING and installing a LAMP platform?
Drupal's online community seems to be the strongest, though there is no easily printable documentation that I can locate. I do not mean to ask something that has been asked a million times already. If that is what I have done, I apologize.
Hi. I'm new to these forums, and have done some digging but cannot find a direct answer to the following.
I have a potential client wanting a CMS. My 2 areas of concern are:
1) Can drupal be easily modified and manged so as not to look like a blog roll? This may seem like a stupid question, but I don't want to have to mangle it too much in order to disable commenting and pagination...
I want to develop a Photography community website where the work of artist is reviewed and voted for by the community.on the lines of www.gfxartist.com, www.terminus1525.ca, www.phirebrush.com. I think AJAX will prove very useful to me. What CMS (with AJAX capablities) do u suggest. I was thinking of Drupal with embedded Gallery 2. But on one of the forums i got this advise.
