Configuration file is missed

Hello, I'm new to Drupal , and I would like to learn more about this pretty wiki script
I just want to inform you that (Downloaded files are corrupted) on this URL http://drupal.org/drupal-4.7.2
And also I didn't find the Configuration file

Do some one explain what the meaning of Drupal or why you choose this nickname for this script

Multi Site Questions

Hello all,

I have been reading as most info as possible over the last 72 hours on various CMS products, and every time built-in multi-site functionality has come up, Drupal was recommended 9 times out of 10. I have been coming all the literature and these forums looking to see if what I want to do is best accomplished with Drupal, but am running into some confusion mostly I think because I have never used Drupal before, so here goes so maybe someone can let me know if I am on the right track...

I am developing a web service for a group of people who independantly represent a line of products...

My idea of the implementation is this...

Develop a base set of content such as news, catalog, downloadable files, product and company information which is standard across the board for all of the product representatives, so they would all need the same info on their sites. I will be maintaining this information for them as a part of this service, and I only want to update each of these items once...

In the beginning there will be about 15 - 20 sites developed with 90 % of the info on the sites the same, however I want each to have the ability to choose a different template and create some independent content such as a bio and contact information. They may also feel that one aspect of the products is most important to them, so they will focus some info on their site about this aspect.

Age old question, Is Drupal for me? Also thinkin of going to drupal drop in Tomorrow! :)

Hi, ive just been inroduced to drupal, i currently use Joomla for my CMS needs, but get incredably frustrated with it sometimes!!!

Id love to try out Drupal and understand it more, so im thinking maybe it could be used for my next project. And defanatly will be using for other projects i have planned as from what i can see and hear its amazing!

I however need advise if Drupal is right for the following project.

Simple user friendly dating site.

Must have following features.

Using Drupal with a pre-existing site design

I have designed a web site for a client and am looking for a good CMS, and Drupal seems really powerful. Unfortunately, I can't find a straightforward answer anywhere about how to actually implement drupal into my site design, without using one of drupal's default themes or something similar. I am a professional web designer with css and xhtml expertise, and a cursory knowledge of php. I have used Movable Type in the past, does drupal work the same as mt's templates?

Blog-Community with selection of theme?

Hey there.

I would like to use Drupal for a little Blog-Community. I already have vBulletin installed and intend to use the Dupal-Bridge to be able to use the same user-database, so my registered users can have their own blogs.

Now, is there a possibility to install different themes and give users the option to choose the one they like best?

Multi Site - limiting storage & bandwidth?

I'm looking at using the multi-site function to provide a complete hosting & site package. I'm still wrapping my head around Drupal, let alone the multi-site aspects... but I find myself getting really excited and everything that is possible.

One thing I haven't really come across yet is if or how storage space and bandwidth may be controlled, limited, for each multi-site?
