I have read the various GPL licencing discussions on here and elsewhere ... and sadly remain unclear as what applies in a particular situation.
In a commercial organisation operating a geographically distributed network of seperate sites, where a secure customised site script including drupal components is distributed free to organisation webmasters, what licence restrictions apply .. if any?
This really baffls me: I have two versions of drupal 4.6 and 4.5 each with own db on my localhost. I can log onto each one but when I try to access any page or admin seting in the 4.5, it switches to the other 4.6 version and theme. No other programme i run with different versions in subdirectories does this.
The 4.5 is running from a virtualhost and the 4.6 is in a subdirectory of my main directory. I'm on Apache 2. Still baffled after reading all the multiple site posts.
So how can I test a different version on the same server?
When upoading images with ecto, the images are posted into the files directory as specified in the admin/settings although in the admin/settings/image I specify'omages' as a subdirectory for uploaded images, which of course makes administratives sense in separating images from other files.
So it seems that the blogapi (moveable type) is not integrated with the image module. Is there a way round this?
do you know what i have to write in the htaccess file to realize that urls like http://cms.stnetwork.de/aggregator/sources/1?from=20 will be look in clean urls for example: /aggregator/sources/1/20 or /aggregator/sources/1/40
