Is there a new programming language comming up, or why is "RUBY" being mentioned on well known blogs. Will the programming language "PHP" be out of date, since "RUBY" is gaining so much momentum?

Will Drupal be competitive in 5 years from now, eventhough it is build on php?
What is this all about? Let me know what you guys think.

Me and my friends are about to start a website.
The website's purpose is to be able to give our teachers a grade and comments.
Each teacher should be able to get grades in different topics, and each grade must be abled trackback to the student who voted. Each vote must also have the option to be changed afterwards.
To be able to give the teacher a grade and a comment the student must be registrated.
Every registred user must be backed up by a real student.

I created a contact us form using the Form and survey module, but on the page it have got on the top "submiited by my loggin name" and I don't want that to appear there. What i need is the Form alone. can somebody advise .

Iam using this html area (WYSIWYG). This editor is included in the jsp.

When i click on the "Insert/Modify Image" icon from the tool bar, the corresponding function will be called in the "htmlarea.js",which will include the selected image in the cursor position of html area.

In the same way, Iam placing a button in jsp, which calls the same function that will popup a window to add a image in the editor.

Iam getting the popup window, but not able to add the image back to the html area.

Somebody help me on this.

Anyone else having problems with TinyMce and Firefox? I enter text in the box and when go to preview or save, the text is gone. Is this a Java thing? I'm using OSX 10.4 and Firefox 1.5
Saves ok if disable rich text.

What should Drupal community do to support this ? We should be in a great position to integrate it all over, better than WordPress / MovableType:
