I'm interested in setting up a medically-oriented nonprofit, but would like a lot of MySpace-like features. Right now, if you look at the landscape of medical nonprofits, there are just tons of them, but they all kind of have crappy websites, a forum, and barely functioning communities. The sites really don't facilitate their communities at all. So there's a need to combine social networking features with something like a medical wiki and put this all in one place. Let patients subscribe to doctors the way people subscribe to friends on MySpace.
Hi I got a quick question, I'm running 4.7 now and I finally got all my 4.6 modules to work with it. Since I've taken the trouble to update some of these 4.6 modules, should I try contacting their authors with the updated files or just post them somewhere here? I'm sorry if I should be asking this someplace else.
This is just a general inquiry. I've noticed that since Google own's Blogger and tons of other cool services now, they are adding some great features -- like linking enabling adding pictures to blogs via Picasa and the newest one: Blogger for Word (http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=1180).
I would strongly recommend that under Settings... there should be a Version/Status page that shows some basic information.... like:
1) What version of Drupal you are running.
2) Call home feature that displays if there are: critical security updates, new versions, major notifications.
Okay, I went into Fantastico and removed Drupal and installed it again so far so good. It is still at http://ejimshannon.com/
However the new page won't let me start a new account and keeps giving me access denied. This is getting weird. Please help, anyone?
