is there a way to unhandle Parse Error in relation to RSS Feeds.
I get this error .

fsockopen(): unable to connect to news.bbc.co.uk:80 in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache\htdocs\drupal-4.6\includes\common.inc on line 268.

I get the following error when i try to modify ldap info of a user.

Hi all,
I have enabled pole module in my site and it is working fine.The problem is that it is displaying in center but I want it to be displayed on right column means right side of my site.Can any one help me.

I just installed 4.6.5 on a Gentoo system. Was able to access the initial page and clicked on create account. Inputted the name and email, but did not get any feedback whether the account was created successfully or not; did not receive any email. However, when I repeat the create account process with the same username as the initial attepmt, I get a " the and is already taken" message.

Is there any config file I need to mess with before drupal sends the first accounts password?

I'v made a template by copying html code from my personal bbs(http://www.heartstringz.net/bbs/), but when I use this template, Drupal renders the page just like this:

Hi my fellow drupal friends, I'm seeking design-technical advice. Could you give me some tips how I could make the content on my page more available? Currently, blog posts and stories get promoted to front page, but forum posts are somewhat hidden or seperated in the forum. Therefore, I created serveral blocks which shows the recent submissions. But it looks kinda flooded and not tidied up, if you know what I mean.
