Sorry I am really having a hard time comming to grips with the theme engines. I am also learing css. Is there an easy way to go from a photoshop design to a template?
Sorry for the stupidly long forum title, I couldn't think of a better way to describe it.
You know sites like myspace, where you can invite people by clicking on the link to the email provider you use, enter your details within the site and it lists everyone and you can invite everyone on your list... I want something like that for my Drupal site. Is there such a module? If not does anyone know how I could implement it?
I know it's a quite strange request, but I'm using a dashboard page as a homepage; the only problem is that I'm not able to remove the title of the dashboard page, and the "submitted by" and "date" field: it would be nice to see just the structure as it is, without any title!
Do you have any suggestion? Thanks anyway
Not really a support question I hope, but I am wondering if there is a place to find out what modules are in the process of being upgraded to 4.7. I am particularly interested in the e-journal, e-publish or periodical modules, but even more so all of them in general. I am just learning the Drupal package and have a need for an online magazine solution. I have looked at Etomite and Drupal, and I like the Drupal option better so far, although I have seen a few Etomite based online magazines which make me wonder if Etomite isn't better suited to that task.
I work for a marketing agency who also specializes in "design first" web implementations. Instead of brewing our own CMS solution, we've zeroed in on Drupal as our favorite open-source CMS candidate for re-branding, and we're looking forward to being active community participants.
I am reading about theme functions and theme overrides in the handbooks. To say the truth, it is not clear to me what theme functions actually ARE. Also, it's not clear to me what theme overrides (functions) actually are.
Can anyone explain that to me please. Sometimes the handbooks are just not clear enough.
