Sending post / get from one website to another ?

Yesterday I posted a message asking how something was done... It was a site wich compared flights... then gave back results off the cheapest one. Now I have a different question.

I came across a site wich let me input data in forms regarding a 'dating - service' .... There was a search button and I pressed it. BUT then the site took me to FRIENDFINDER. Seems that this dating service site was just a 'landing page'....

The data I entered in the forms on the landingpage however were copied into the forms of friendfinder and the submit was automatically done....

drupal and static pages

I want to let drupal system generate .htm files.
Who can give me the way?

Thanks.

Good examples of small community organisations using drupal for social action and change.

This isn't a technical question, but a drupal-in-use-as-a-social-tool question. I need to make a presentation to a foundation in a couple of weeks. I personally believe that drupal is a wonderful tool for small organisations to use in their community development and advocacy, but I'd like a few examples in the US, UK, Australia or elsewhere. I'm interested in some of the stories about how groups got to use drupal and how they continue to do so, particularly around of skills development, maintenance etc. I'd like to know about failures as well.

Community Media project looking the right Drupal developer

Alliance for Community Journalism

We're a start-up non-profit creating an innovative new web-based news platform involving traditional neighborhood news sources, citizen journalism and media education, based in Boston.

Our project is ambitious, so we need people that can really dedicate themselves to a good cause to add to our web development team. This position would start out as a volunteer gig (none of us are paid yet), and with luck and intelligence, become a paid gig.

Drupal.org Performance Oddity

I don't know whether anyone else has noticed this, but the current Drupal.org website performs strangely (in a bad way) when viewed in IE 6.0.2800.1106. Specifically, links that appear on the page *below* the bottom of the blocks on the right side of the screen are not clickable. You can only activate them by tabbing to the link and using the keyboard to trigger. I can't imagine why this would be, but it's reliable (for me).

Cheers,
David
